Ouroboros
Session Date: May 14, 2005
Trailer: Kalen in Flames! Hordes of undead swarm below! And the sun is going down! Can our heros set right that which is broken? The only way to find out is to show up!
Synopsis:
Assynt 35, 1022 - Sundown (Alternate Timeline)
Currently on the Eloshai airship "Kalia". Anna and Triella attempt to contact Naruko in the village on the far side of the planet with the help of Seeress Melosia. They make contact, and find that she is just outside the underground chamber. They convince her to go inside the chamber and speak to the Nilhen that she found inside. She explains (with help from Triella and Anna) what has happened. The Nilhen studies the damage done to the 'Time Chamber'. After examining the damage the Nilhin determines that some of the pieces that formed the outer wall of the chamber are missing and if they had been moved could have caused the change in the time stream that has occured.
Observation that was made: It was late afternoon for both the girl and for the party at the same time even though we were separated by half a world.
Anna continues to have seeress moments.
The airship lands for the evening because the wind is dying down. Upon landing the party has a pow wow with Mazeriyan and Nyria trying to determine a course of action. The party settles on sneaking into the city through the tunnel the dwarf had previously found and attempt to enter the city undetected.
Mazeriyan provides probable meeting location for Selmoc (Brohma Te Selmoc,a Nilhen) in the sanctuary in the park the Clovertoun district of Kalen. Mazeriyan also provides an image/glyph to show that we are not Demarian sympathizers or spies.
The party sets out and the dwarf finds the tunnel entrance with no trouble. Feiruhn and Bandanna head up to the river where the humans have set watch to prevent the damarians or the zombies from crossing. While impressonating an elven official Feiruhn retrieves the war golem from the bottom of the river and takes it into the tunnel with the party.
KrackenHeads leads the party to the lower entrance of the dwarven pub that the party had used before when exploring the tunnels under Kalen. After some quick negotiating (and 100 crowns provided by Ban Danna) the party was let in; war golem and all. Party spoke with Aethra there. The dwarves were suggested that they could follow the back trail of the war golem in order to escape. The dwarves high tailed it out of there.
