A Kyelsoran elf with the gift of foresight. Not incredibly powerful as a seeress, but she is prone to visions which tell her things of the past, present and future. He is also an untrained telepath, and from time to time she can hear others thoughts and project her voice.
She is the half-sister of Anna Bell Huntswoman’s mother. She came to Kalen eight years ago because of a vision she had while serving an Eloshai senator’s daughter (Caela). She spent the last eight years advising Queen Mairi, and then King William until she disappeared sometime around the 10th of Ninian. In her absence, the King has requested Melosia as a replacement seeress, on the suggestion of Caela who is familiar with her work.
She was presumed killed by Nymvayas in the attempt to open the gate to Neist to release the Demarian army and zombie horde. Her soul/chi may have been absorbed by the Drysophian Collective.
