Was born in the vicinity of Deansburgh in 999 (or thereabouts) Family was visiting relatives in Cromdale when the Demarians attacked. Her family was slaughtered, and Triella was tortured under the ministrations of the Demarians. She was rescued and secreted out of the city. She has little memory of the torture, but bears numerous scars (both physical and mental) from that experience.
Having shown some talent for magic, she was placed under the care of the newly formed Hebridonian Mage Corps where she began to study the ways of the Warcaster. Her aptitudes for warcasting, and her eagerness to learn new and exciting ways to kill Demarians were noticed, and she was among a small group chosen for special assignment, exploring the nature of Chi magic. The small band allowed Triella to focus on something new, and she was feeling almost normal, when an experiment with the undead failed, and cost the life of one of Triella's friends. This sent Triella's already fragile psyche into a downward spiral, and she spent many weeks locked in her Mage Corps quarters contemplating death. Finally, at the suggestion of her mentor Gheist (and after much encouragement/cajoling/beating into submission by her close friend/ sometimes personal healer Alyssa) she took a special assignment with the Hebridonian crown. She has a new relationship with Naruko who has assumed a life debt owed to Triella by Naruko's sister. Has recently been crippled as a mage, and must come to accept her new limitations.
