Harvest 29, 53
Having decided to "go after" Nimia" the party meets in their house to try to lay out a plan of attack. Safiria notes that she would like to figure out what Nimia's business interests are, presumably so the party can cut off her supply of money.
Alex inquires with some his business contacts to see if anyone has a lead on Nimia's business interests. Alex's contact states that they don't have any direct contact's with Nimia. He contact goes on to say that Nimia plays it very to the chest and makes herself difficult to track down.
When packing up to leave, the party speaks to Reuben. During the conversation, they ask Rueben to lie to anyone looking for the party "They went to the Honeycomb"
The party packs up and heads north out of Mormoon.
Harvest 30, 53
The party travels to the ranger outpost with no trouble.
Dalin 1, 53
Pass through the dead town. Parts of it are still smoldering. The party holes up in one of the intact farm houses overnight.
Dalin 2, 53
The party bushwacks around looking for the gate. After half a day, the party finds the gate and steps into the Feywild. The party heads up the path and arrives at Castle of Smoke and Moon. The party sort of mills around the outside of the castle trying to think of an excuse to enter the castle until Elrohir whips out his soul stone. The tone of the guards immediately changes and they promptly usher the party into a waiting room while a runner goes to speak to Lord Maedros. Word comes back that Lord Maedros will receive the party, and they are escorted to his suite.
Lord Maedros receives the party and extends all the usual courtesies. After the party has settled in he starts to inquire about their business in the castle. The party gives some circumspect answers involving Nimia. Maedros sees that some discretion is in order, halts the conversation and has a brief conversation with one of his servants. Several minutes later, the servant returns with a large ornate candelabra. When lit, the candelabra emits a brief flash that fills the room and seems to penetrate the walls. Maedros explains that the candelabra will prevent unwanted prying eyes from listening in on their conversation.
He gives the party an brief background on the castle and some of its history, the major houses and their current disposition. The party breaks up to get ready for a social event they have been invited to.
Safira (accompanied by Lucius and Elrohir) does some investigating for her father. She finds a 'watching stone' in her father's apartment. She finds little other detail as to how he disappeared. She does have the feeling of being watched on occasion after finding the stone.
