Several members of the party enter the city. Due to the heavy security Al, Verian and Aayron stay to guard the shanty hut with the party's weapons.
The guards at the gate conduct an extensive contraband search. Crash is strip searched.
The party meanders through town and make it to a social club that is owned by the elves. The party meets Erdan Greenleaf.
Meet the dock workers. Theesil asks the party if they can distract guards to allow a ship to "slip its hawsers" - ie. they have a little bit of trade or smuggling. They would like the ship to make it out of town without attracting attention from the brute squad.
The party arranges a public street fight with Rhogar fighting Crash for public bets. The local brute squad is distracted while the smugglers slips off into the river. The fight comes to an abrupt end as the riot squad shows up and proves itself to not be amenable to bribery. Crash and Rhogar get swept up by the riot squad. Safiria is almost swept up by the riot squad. Everyone else disperses and meets up later at the elven social club.
While in prison, Crash and Rhogar meet Salim. Salim had been picked up for vagrancy when the brute squad told him to "move along" and he was a bit obstinate. Crash and Rhogar interrpret this to mean that he was acting as look out for a burglary in process. Salim invites Crash and Rhogar around to his cafe to talk business after everyone is bailed out.
Crash and Rhogar get bailed out in the morning.
Theesil points the party toward the cattlemen. Job offer: make cattle go away.
Party meets with Salim. job offer: burn down a warehouse.
Party decides to burn down warehouse. Safiria slips into the warehouse, raids the clerk's desk, looks in a box and then lights fire to the warehouse. Everyone disperses.
