Dalnor/EmpireDracnos
An ancient empire of dragons, dragonkind and dragonkin. The empire previously spanned the Provinces of Elafta, Provinces of Dalnor and the The Two Realms. For this reason, these lands are referred to as provinces.
The Empire easily controlled the lands south of the Division Mountains. It had a great deal of trouble expanding its influence north of the mountains.
Influence of the Empire was damaged when the tieflings poisoned the Black River making it difficult move troops and materials across the river.
The empire collapsed under its own weight during its war with the tieflings. At that time most of the dragons dispersed throughout the realm. Some of the oldest dragons stayed, burrowed under the remaining cities. Each of the cities are now independent city states, and free holds run by a local governing council or dragon overlord.
Its western border is currently the Black River.
Land
The empire maintains the eastern shore to the Black river as its claimed lands. Lands west of the black river are considered "Provinces in Absentia"
The land is open plains that transitions into rolling hills and mountains to the north.
Portions around the black river are dead and still refuse to grow.
Population
Dragons and dragonborn. Some draconians are seen.
All other species are second class.
