The Kyelsoran is a vast forest bounded to the south by the human lands of Hebridonia, to the west by the Ardgour mountains and to the east by Barraigh mountains. The north coast of the Kyelsoran looks out on the Gulf of Taolori. Embedded in the heart of the Kyelsoran is the Eloshai Republic, also colloquially known as the Magelands.
The Kyelsoran is populated almost exclusively iwht elves, organized into regional clans, which nomially offer allegiance to a council of the largest clans. The primary inhabitants of the Kyelsoran are the Kyelsoran Elves, which are also simply referred to as the "Kyelsoran". This reflects the opinion of the elves that the forest, land and people are really the same thing.
the kyelsoran tend to live in small communities sprinkles within a clan's territory, rather than large settlements and cities like their Eloshai kin.
A large swath of the Kyelsoran north of the Eloshai Republic is referred to as the Ruadh Mâceria. It is a barren waste that is a result of the Elf/Scaryn war.
A sub section of the Kyelsoran army is refered to as the Phedrani. They are a highly trained group.
