Places/Ring of Fire

Described as a "festering pustule on the the flesh of the land", the Ring of Fire is a region characterized by a barren land surrounded by mountains and volcanos. It is situated northwest of the Kyelsoran and acts as the terminus of the Ardgour mountain range. Though now geologically active, with weekly eruptions and plumes of sulferous gasses pouring forth from various subterranean tubes, it contains many ruins and abandoned structures that suggest a more peaceful time in its recent past.
An expedition to the Ring of Fire was backed by Faegan Islay to bring back detailed maps and artifacts from the region.
