Gnomes are found primarily in the lands of Hebridonia, though it is strongly asserted that a great many of them are slaves in the Demarian Empire. Gnomes are found in their own enclaves attached to most human settlements, and do not share the love of life underground that Dwarves do. The largest concentration of Gnomes is found in the Cromdale and Stonehaven, where they are a substantial minority (25% of the population).

While this race shares the shorter stature of the dwarves, and a fairly stocky build, it is rare to find a Gnome with either long beards or hair. A love of music, mirth and humor, and a general good-natured outlook on the world make Gnomes welcome wherever they go, and while they still bear hard feelings for Demarians over the slavery of their kin, they are able to put that prejudice behind them for Dargai that have fled the empire.
