Half elves are the result of breeding between Humans and full elves. The result is a person that exhibits the traits of both races. They have the characteristic pointed ears and high cheek bones of the elves while keeping some of the stockiness of humans. Half-elves can breed with humans, elves or other half-elves. Offspring between a half elf and an elf (or human) tend to look and be more like the full blooded parent. This offspring can be refered to as Half-Elf or full blood human or Elf depending upon who the person is with. They can also be referred to as Quarter Elves.
At this time there is no "half-elven" community per se since there are not enough of them to form their own society.
