A Humanoid race found in Hebridonia and other distant lands, they are all mages and very reclusive with respect to other races. They are distinguished from other humans (when their appearance is not magically cloaked) by the tattoos which adorn virtually every square inch of their bodies. Though few have seen the tattoos up close, these beautiful adornments are composed of fine magical rune text which are rumored to give the Nilhen special powers.
