Introduction
I've worked on a number of Web sites over the years, and below is a partial
listing of my contributions. Some of them are clients, others are for
organizations that I've belonged to.
Clients
Cyberdiet
Since 1996, I've worked on dozens of projects for
Cyberdiet, mostly in creating CGI scripts and databases for their visitors.
The site is now members-only, so you have to pay to use most of the
code I've written. Among my contributions are the Nutritional Profile, Daily
Food Planner, Nutritional Information Database, 123 Step, 12 Week Meal Plans,
Activity Calculator, Fast Food Quest, and the membership login and management system.
Pier 40
The online registration and payment system for this site allows customers to submit payments through a secure web form. The system also allows the administrator to manage the payment system and look up customer information based on a variety of keys, including name. plate and telephone number.
Rommie Davis
Updates to this web site, in the form of TV appearance
schedules and shopping information are usually sent to me, though Brian has
taken care of it from time to time when I'm on vacation.
Armsco and AZ-Restaurant
It's hard to see my contribution to this site, because I'm responsible for the middleware which submit orders to the credit
card processors (Verisign or Authorize.net), and the administration screens for
the administrator to manage the order information
Imagiware Related Sites
Imagiware runs a number of Web sites which I have worked with in various roles. It's important to note that any Imagiware site listed also had very strong contributions from Brian Casey, and possibly other Imagiware employees.
Imagiware
The site template layout, including logo, style sheets and menu navigation were mostly my creation. To make it a bit easier to update the
look of the site later, PHP was used to centralize some common features found on each page, such as the masthead, menu bar and footer.
Doctor HTML
The site template layout and graphics, along with the report design were done by me with helpful feedback from Brian Casey and Laura Eilar. I was also responsible for the architecture of the Doctor HTML system, including the single page report generator and the site analysis tool. Part of that architecture included a module system to allow new tests to be developed by third parties..
Other Sites
Code Furies
Along with the web site design, I also contributed code
and development support for the Group Editing and Authoring Software package. We use GEAS for a variety of jobs
at Imagiware, including project and knowledge management. If you're using a
web-based shared authoring script like Wiki, you should have a look at GEAS.
University of Chicago Pipe Band
I built and maintained the band's web site until it merged
with one of the other bands in the Chicago area. The web site is no longer around, but I have a few screen shots here and here.
