Introduction
Below I have collected a sample of all the writing I've done over the years, from professional work to creative fiction. Please let me know if you have any comments or questions!
Imagiware Related
Writing Doctor HTML Modules
This is a tutorial I wrote for licensees of Doctor HTML on how to add new tests to the product.
Procedure for Web Server Troubleshooting
An internal Imagiware document for employees on how to troubleshoot problems with the web server. This guide is no longer used since we've gone to a new system, but it serves as a good example of internal documentation that I've written.
Astronomical Publications
Before I started Imagiware, I was studying Astrophysics at New Mexico Tech and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Socorro, NM. I was primary author for the following publications (unless otherwise noted):
Radio Continuum and HI Emission in Holmberg II: Tracing the Energy Balance in the ISM
Published in the Astronomical Journal in 1995, volume 109, p. 2462. You can read the abstract here, courtesy of the NASA ADS Astronomy Abstract Service
The HI Topology of M33: Samples from NGC 595 and NGC 604
Published in the Bulletin of the American Astronomical Society in 1994, volume 26, p. 1433. This was in conjunction with a poster that I presented at the 185th AAS Meeting in Tucson, Arizona. More on this article can be found at here, courtesy of the NASA ADS Astronomy Abstract Service.
Supernova 1994I in NGC 5194
This is part of an IAU circular (#5990) that I submitted with my classmates as part of in-class observations at the Very Large Array. We had observed NGC 5194 forty nine days before a supernova was detected optically in that object, so we were able to place upper limits on radio continuum brightness of the object prior to going supernova.
The Geometry of the H I of Several Members of the M81 Group: The H I is Fractal
Published in the Astronomical Journal in 1999, volume 117, p. 868. I was a contributing author on this paper, which can be read online here, courtesy of The Astronomical Journal.
